ULB (Assistant) - Développement d'un endoscope à visualisation tridimensionelle
The tools developped in the field of endoscopy require the gastroenterologists to be more and more accurate. In particular, the simultaneous use of more than one tool requires to be able to locate one compared to the others. To achieve this, many developments are made to improve the quality of the information returned to the physicians. One of these development is the depth perception.
This project is dedicated to solve this problem by developing a three dimension endoscope. A known pattern is projected into the cavities. The deformation of the pattern provides the information required to reconstruct the 3D shape of the volume analysed. This technique is also known as Structured light technique.
The device developped in this project is dedicated to be mini-invasive and to need no additional space compared to actual desgin of endoscopes.
