[COLLETTE] Conception and design of an active isolation system with a sub-Hz precision
Nowadays, some applications require high degree of isolation. This involves the isolation of the system even at sub-Hz frequency. This field is of big interest in different domains such as the gravitational wave detection or gravimetry.
For this purpose, an optical inertial sensor has been developed. Such a sensor is supposed to be less sensitive to operating conditions (temperature, magnetic field, shock, pressure,…) and have a better sensivity.
The objective of this project is to integrate the sensor into an active isolation system.
The conception of the system will include the design of an active isolation table, the selection of the actuators and the integration of the optical interferometer into its mechanical support.
Finally, the design of the control loop will be studied.
