Our research works in didactics of applied sciences have led us to develop an original framework of what is a preconception and how to overcome it : the Overgeneralized Domain of Validity-based Framework. It has been successfully applied to BA2 electricity course in EPB (statistically significant improvement in learning) through exercise and lab sessions.
Our aim with this master thesis is to go further in our analysis about those difficult-to-change learning difficulties, to work on an efficient way to detect them (possibly by metacognitive processes) and to help students to overcome them thanks to effective teaching strategies implemented in a smart, user-friendly and autonomous learning system (for instance by means of an app).
